SALES EXECUTIVE - READING

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Obtain and retain Certificate in General Insurance for the Motor Industry
  • Ensure the IRG Sales Experience is delivered to every customer as detailed in Sales Processes and constantly improve working methods and standards,
  • Maintain good relationships with customers by meeting and exceeding their expectations in order to meet the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Actively prospect and follow up every sales opportunity using IFU and telephone prospecting systems
  • Sell an agreed volume of new cars per period of time
  • Achieve the individual volume/profit objectives set by the Sales Manager
  • Pursue and achieve incremental sales and profit opportunities through the sale of Finance, Warranty, Insurance, Service Plans, Options and Accessory sales.
  • Conduct accurate and fair appraisals of all vehicles presented for part exchange
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge in respect of all Infiniti vehicles, dealership prices, current promotions, Consumer offers, funding, taxation of vehicles and relevant legislation.
  • Participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales (as required)
  • Make sure the showroom is clean and tidy and always meets IRG standards
  • Handle all administrative requirements of the position (e.g. paperwork, plans, reports and the maintenance of an accurate customer database-IFU)
  • Complete any other appropriate sales activities as specified by the Sales Manager
  • Operate a showroom rota to cover required opening hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Sales and Marketing

The ability to identify and maximize sales opportunities.

  • Actively participates in the achievement of sales budget and promotes a proactive sales culture within the Sales Team whilst advising the Sales Manager of potential sales and local market opportunities
  • Monitors personal sales performance against budget and initiates remedial actions as required. Discusses performance monthly in Appraisal process.
  • Maintains open and regular communication, with Sales Administration staff and other Dealership staff (inc After Sales Department) to ensure smooth running of the Sales Department along with high levels of customer service
  • Pro-actively follows all sales leads and opportunities including those presented by the General Manager, Sales Manager, Service Manager and Manufacturer’s Systems.
  • Manages and Maintains the IFU system, keeping fully up-to-date with tasks, appointments and handovers.


QUAFILICATIONS, SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Qualifications

  • Minimal academic qualification required
  • Current Driving Licence, reporting any offences immediately to Sales Manager\DP
