Renault Sport F1 comes to Stockport

From Friday 24th to Monday 27th August, we’ll be playing host to a Renault Sport F1™ car for Formula One™ fans in the area to view. The 2017 model was designed around the team’s own powerplant, and helped propel them up the standings for a much stronger finish than in 2016. Pop along to Infiniti Centre Stockport to see an example of one of the world’s best racers in the metal.

These are stored against unique ids (which are strings of numbers). When you submit information using an online form, GForces processes the data collected and stores it for 31 days for the legitimate business purpose of enabling us to access the information and deal with your request (it is then kept for a further 14 days in GForces’ routine back-ups for business continuity purposes). As with our enquiry forms, if you wish to make an on-line purchase GForces will process the data collected and submit to Codeweavers for further processing. We use Stripe for online payment processing and Alphera Finance for credit financing both of who will act as data processors for the transaction.

The data held will be as per our enquiry forms and will be held for 6 years if a purchase is made but only 31 days if not.

Use of Cookies

We use “cookies” to identify you when you visit the website (members don’t have to enter a password every time they visit) and to build up a profile of our regular users. A cookie is a small piece of information sent by a web server to a web browser, which enables the server to collect information back from the browser. Our use of cookies also allows members to be presented with a personalised version of the site.

We will only read cookies from your cookie file placed there through your web browser’s interaction with the site.

Use of Session Files

We use session files, along with cookies, to log your browsing patterns and so identify the areas of the site which have been of interest to you, allowing us to personalise the site for you.

Customer Data Held

We hold customer data on two systems within the company.

In order to manage a sales enquiry we processes the data collected and store it for 12months for the legitimate business purpose of enabling us to access the information and deal with your request. We collect the following information:

Once we have supplied either goods or services to someone, we transfer the same data onto our accounting system and store it for a minimum of six years for the legitimate business purpose of maintaining adequate accounting records for statutory purposes.

If you enter your postcode, GForces stores the first part of it (e.g. ‘ME14’ or ‘SW1’) and links it to standard internet log information already collected (it is used for the same purposes as that information, as outlined above).

Live Chat Service

We use a third-party provider, Gubagoo supply and support our LiveChat service. If you use the LiveChat service we will collect your name and email address if you provide this and any other personal information that you volunteer to us. This is used for the legitimate business purpose of handling customer enquiries in real time and then following up. This data is stored by Gubagoo for 2 years to enable us to access the information and deal with your enquiry. Gubagoo stores the information in the US under the EU-US privacy shield framework. Sharing of Information

We may share your information with our parent company and other group operations for the legitimate purpose of fulfilling our contract with you. We may also share your information with:

  • Other organisations and service providers that we work with or partner for example, warranty providers
  • Our professional advisors
  • Any law enforcement agency, court, regulator, government authority and or other third party where we believe this is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, or otherwise to protect our rights or the rights of any third party: and

Transferring your information internationally

Your personal information may be transferred internationally. Sometimes we will need to transfer your information out of the United Kingdom, for example, the company’s performance is managed from Switzerland and Hong Kong and we outsource some of our IT services to the USA. Countries to which we transfer information may have different standards to control how your information is used and protected and these standards may not be as strict as those in place in the United Kingdom.
